Big Blue Band conquers California!

The Big Blue Band travelled to sunny Southern California and participated in a Disney Performing Event where they were allowed special access to perform and play along with several clips of Disney films. The band visited Universal Studios in Hollywood, the San Diego Zoo, Coronado Beach, and Disneyland. Thanks to all parents for allowing your students to attend and special thanks to all chaperones who were such a great help on the trip! It is fun to take our students out and let them have great experiences like this trip! GO BIG BLUE!!!

The Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Jeffrey D. Jones, performed on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Richardson HS for the Region 3 UIL Concert & Sightreading Contest. The group received straight ONES in both parts of the contest, with many complimentary things said from both judges and others in the audience.
